FAQ

The app isn’t detecting any movement / the hypnogram is empty.
Check that:

1. The app has microphone permission (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Microphone → Noxuma Sleep; Android: Settings → Apps → Noxuma Sleep → Permissions).
2. The phone is placed on your bedside table or near the mattress, not in another room.
3. On iPhone, Background App Refresh is enabled for Noxuma Sleep (Settings → Noxuma Sleep).

Can I use the app without the SleepPhaser lamp?
Yes. The app works fully standalone. SleepPhaser is an optional add-on device from Happy Electronics (Sleep Phaser).

Does the app share my data with anyone?
No. We do not sell or share your data, and your sleep data and audio stay on your device. To keep the app reliable, it sends anonymous crash reports and a small launch ping that never contain audio or sleep data. Details in our privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?
In-app Settings → “Delete local data”. Alternatively, uninstall the app — this removes all data associated with it.

Is the app a medical device?
No. Noxuma Sleep is a wellness app, not intended for diagnosis or treatment of sleep disorders. For serious sleep concerns, consult a physician.
